Four o'clock in the morning
Afraid to open my eyes
Another day of grief,
A day of fear.
All alone I feel.
I try to justify all the pain,
All of this guilt before my eyes.
Another day of confusion,
A day of wondering.
Is it ever just going to go away?
All this pain that I feel,
And all this anger, is it going to stay?

Ten o'clock in the evening,
Afraid of the nightmares.
Again my breathing stops.
All I can do is stare into the night.
What is it that causes this feeling?
Another night of crying,
A night of hiding,
Alone once again.
My heart feels empty,
And I can't cry another tear.
Another day wasted on insecurity,
A day of wonder.
Is this ever going to end?

Last week my sister interviewed for a job at one of New York City's most prestigous law firms. She was interviewed by a man who had a dirty look on his face through most of the interview. Then it took an unexpected turn. His question was "We've never hired a woman at our firm before, so why should we start now?" My sister was highly taken aback and could not think of anything to say. A few moments went by and he said "that's what I thought."

Interesting question, but there's some people i've come across in my life who you would have thought to be complete assholes by their outward actions, but completely compassionate and caring deep down when it came to emotional and sensitive issues. In other words,a jerk with a kind heart. What is the psychology of this type of behavior?

Why is it now 'funny' to mock feminists, (such as Borat does)? Why is it that more people are defending Eastern cultures? Is the Western society weary of the complaing and ranting of feminists? Has feminism cried "Wolf" too many times?

There's this guy at my gym who is not content to be there unless he finds something about someone to rag about. There's not a day that goes by when he's there where he's not putting someone down for one thing or another. The thing is,he gives off this vibe of being completely happy-go-lucky but is he trying to cover up some insecurities?

All week i've had the worst feeling that something bad was going to happen to one of the people that i love. I worry about my brother a lot because he's kind of a wild one! But this morning i got a phone call that my mom was in a car wreak. Thank GOD she didn't get hurt but it totaled her car and if she weren't wearing a seat belt she would have went right through the windshield. It's crazy how we have this feelings in the back of or mind and then something like this happens. It really makes you think!

Has this happend to anyone else?

3 months ago I told my girlfriend I wanted some time apart because things were moving fast, and we were getting pretty serious. My girlfriend was very upset, but I insisted and we didnt see each other for a month. When I realized how much I loved her I asked her to take me back. At first she was still angry at me, but after a few weeks she finaly took me back.We are happy for the past two months, but last week I asked if she had dated anyone while we were apart - I did not.I found out she not only did date but she even slept with someone she knows from her gym and someone from her work, she says for about 3 weeks she had regular sex .The past few days I have been trying to hold in my jealousy.I know it is my fault and I gave her the freedom, but how do I get rid of my rage without showing it to my girlfriend?I have been asking her details of what happened and we have talked, and i feel i need to know altho its hard. i let her know it is ok to talk about enjoying the sex. am i ok?
