It would depend on how you interview with me as well as the references you provided. How were your high school test scores? What type of position are you hoping to gain?

What you need is confidence. Get a job in a shop. They are desperate for staff at this time of year so you should get a job no problem. Shop work might not pay so well but you usually make a saving from a staff discount and usually the hours are not so bad. Although you will get a few stupid grumpy jerks most customers are really nice and you get a lot of confidence selling them things. It is also nice being able to look at all the cute people who come in to look at the items on sale!
So I would recommend going around the local shops tomorrow and seeing which ones look nice places to work and get a few application forms. The local job centre will help you fill in the forms in a proper way and will give you tips on getting an interview.
Anyway I hope this helps - if you have any more problems just ask!

do you have any marketable skills? If not, most anybody who behaves responsibly, is presentable and punctual and not high all the time can get a job working in a store, like a grocery, Wal-Mart, department Store, a restaurant, or an office, and there is nothing wrong with it. DO the best job you can, take pride in it no matter what it is, learn as much as you can as fast as you can, and you will keep getting better ones.
It is scary at first, but confidence will come to you. But you can't get it or experience at home. Think of all of it as a challenge and an adventure, work hard, and you'll get over the trepidation sooner than you think.
Good luck

well for a start don't dwell on the past, take a good look in the mirror and say this is what i like about myself and if others don't that is their problem. To get a job you have to be confident go to an interview as if someone told you you were the most unique person on this earth which is true and smile, if your not happy before the interview watch a funny movie or treat yourself to something nice dye you hair or get earrings something that will make you feel better.
Most of all don't be scared that is just feelings from the evil one hold you back from achiving what you want.
look to jesus for answers he knows them all.

If you're not picky about your first job you can get one pretty much anywhere like fast food restaraunts, bagging groceries etc. The best thing you can do is put in applications in at as many places as you can and then hopefully you will get a bunch of call backs and choose which one you want. If you have to take a job you really don't like at first don't fret. Work there for a month or so then you can use them on your next resume for a better job.

You can look for entry level jobs. You can work om skills to get a job you want. There are places to take CPR classes if you want to be a camp director or Lifegaurd. There are typing classes if you want to work in an office. Take some classes and you will have skills they will not want to turn down. Good luck

If you go to your local unemployment office, they have people there that will help you. Just ask for an employment counselor.
Many people call the unemployment office when they are looking for help. The office will make sure that no one takes advantage of you and will tell you how to improve your abilities.
Good luck!
