There is hardly any direct link between the "Nature of Women" and the "Behaviour of Women".
Thank you for bringing up this topic as it has paved the way for my two new Books in-the-making.
Women go through more changes than Men, this includes physical (hormonal changes), emotional changes and regular shifts in mind-set.
While men are the go-getters, women have always dominated a strategy of attracting the bee.
If you read the book, Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus, you will gather the fact that women really do not need solutions to their 'problems', but a chance to get that feeling out in word expression.
It is the woman who does things better by the book no matter how impractical it is in the real world. To women, a given guideline in a book is good enough. And women often resort to book knowledge than using their own mind.
Men on the other hand look for short-cuts in order to achieve the most out of least energy utilized. And this they do it by experience and they know exactly how to achieve it. The only disruption to success is when they are distracted from achieving their goal and it could be a time limit set against them. Like "come home quick, honey....... in need to go shopping.....
If a woman is over dependent on a man and keeps on 'nagging and complaining' it will disrupt the man from doing anything.
Because men need a tranquil and quiet environment to exercise their planning strategies. And his efforts in this direction can have long term benefit for his whole family.
I hope enough women will get to read my answer. It should be an eye-opener for them.
Men are not really lazy to get up and do things. It's just that women being used to doing things differently which is a little at a time, end up cleaning the house most of the time. Men only get up to do all the chorus at one go.The intuitive thinking and planning which actively runs in the minds of men is often overlooked by women and misunderstood as laziness.

When we complained that much when we were young, someone would slap us across the face and yell "Get a grip, are you a man or a mouse" If something similar was done to a young girl the slappee would most likely be charged with some offence. That is also the reason there are more gays these days, as hitting is being more and more frowned apon, more guys are growing up to be sissy girls. Soon the world will be full of moaners and 'rusty swordsman'

Women in this country have a higher standard of living and more "rights" than those of most other countries...yet they do 5-10 times the complaining. The answer is, they're spoiled. If you ever run into a woman from an ex Soviet Union country for comparison, you will be absolutely shocked at the difference in attitude. They are grateful for what little they have. Very refreshing.
Edit - sunflower...nothing could be further from the truth.

Women as a group complain more than men because of socialized behavior. As an example- When a girl child gets hurt her parent(s) are immediately responsive to her, she is EXPECTED to whine and cry. The opposite generally is true for a male child.
This whiney behavior extends itself into other facets of everyday life if it is not actively discouraged.
As a female that does her best not to whine, I apologize for those of my gender that do.

Hormones make us a bit crazy. Plus we're tired. You try looking good, being nice, keeping house, keeping husband and kids happy, keeping boss happy (or being the boss)... It's healthy to vent about the things that drive a person nuts. And so... we complain. Don't try to fix us... just listen.

You have certainly elicited a lot of reponses !
You have made an unfair generalisation. Yes, research studies have shown that women are more 'communicative' than men & girl babies talk at an earlier age than boy babies.
My question to you...why do men ***** so much ? ( equally simplistic question)
I think the guys should define what they mean by 'complaining' especially Charlie boy :)

Most women don't. But a few do nag and nag and nag all day - these are the ones who make women seem like a complaining bunch.

we dont complain any more than men its just that we do it in a different way to men, women are more verbal and will let our feelings known but men will jus drown their sorrows or ignore the problem and hope it will go away. any way why do men always moan about women moaning...
