I met a guy and i really like him. He seemed oldfashioned at first (his apperance) but when we start to talk, then he seemed very nice and understanding guy. We have the same profession. He have a wonderful career.
The problem is that he comes for a very conservative family ( eventhough he tries to convince me that they are liberal and understanding). My family is very opend minded and liberal. So I doubt that we will have sucsess. But when I look into his eyes there is something about it. He is so calm and gives me security that I need. He says that he accepts critics, that he is transparent and he can change. But can he change his way of living and those traditions that he used to grow up?

I mean, you're already happy with the same sex, what is so wrong with the opposite? It just makes sense to me!

...Because of the internet, instant news coverage, etc...?

Is there an increasing sense that we are citizens of the world rather than simply citizens of a country? Do we feel a greater responsibility for people beyond our borders?

How do you see this?

I asked this 3 x. and i get answers from dumbasses that want to label me an addict etc. JUst answer the question. I dont need advice on the pills i am on or wether i am addicted, etc. That was not my question,. I work to help addicted people, so i know i am addicted to my pills. Either i lay in bed and cry as i try to walk, or take pills till i have surgery you idiot. ANd to the person that said i am not in pain...i pray you go throught this so you have compassion, and i normally wouldn't pray for my enemy to go through this. My question was if i have the right to pick my surgeon. I have state insurance, there is no problems with it getting denied. I don't think i should have to support a practice that treats you bad. I think you should have some say to the person that is going to stick a knife in you, and then the pain is up to them after. Would you pick a surgeon that wants to cut you and put you on asprin afterwords? Does anyone understand?

since i was born,my parents (mainly my dad) controlled everything i did.and academic excellence was the most important thing.i was very sheltered.i felt like the only way to gain appreciation from them was to make the grades. when i reached highschool, i became a "serial" dater and stopped making perfect grades.i seeked appreciation from the boys i dated, and then i would dump them and continue with other boys(this didn't include sex).when i reached college,i missed my friends horribly and was jealous that they were going to the same colleges with eachother, and i was stuck at a college that wasn't even my first or second choice.i hated it.and then my sophomore yr, the close friends i made at college all transferred to diff colleges(they too didn't like it there).this made me sad,and my grads plumetted.i also started dating a boy that was just as controlling/obsessed with grades as my dad.now it's my junior yr,and he left me for a really topnotch student.i feel like my life is a failure

I was seeing this guy mike for 5 months off and on and he was very abusive yet stupid me id forgive him . He got mad at like every little thing i did. I've even ended up in the hospital because of him. I did not tell my parents he did anything, i just told them i fell down the stairs, and they think hes a good guy, he kept saying hed change yet he didnt. I always would say id leave him for good yet for some reason i still like him i dont know why. Now i've moved but he still keeps in contact with me and i thought i was over him untill he visited for thanksgiving break, we were doing really good the first few days and i realized that im still into him. I dont know how to get over him. Also when he was over here he told me how much he still likes me and wishes things could be different and how much he changed. I'm soo CONFUSED. I know I'm stupid for still being into him,.

I got badly hurt and I have no respect for this individual whatsoever. I do, however, have a beautiful recollection of the day we met. All I'm asking is, is it healthy at all to cherish this in my heart because it's like a fantasy. Not real. Someone who loves you doesn't do certain things under any circumstance.

I just feel like I'm fooling myself the way I think about that one day in August 2 years ago.

It's all been a lie anyway.

thanx

I stoped praying since when I noticed those people who are around me who are cheating behind there wife. Kids are always having sex. Why do they keep coming and ask for forgiveness evene though there gonna do the same thing over again. I stoped going to the Mask. I feel as all these people are pretending. As future comes I feel as judgement day is almost here.

I know people have goals in life and make plans to reach those goals but do plans really work? Whenever there are so many variables in a persons life isnt is more a case of sheer luck if any plan actually succeeds. Whats your experience? Have your plans worked? Did you really reach the goal you were aiming for? Perhaps you exceeded your wildest dreams without trying? Just curious to know if hard work and planning really do get a person to where they want to be.

What are some other reasons a person might stalk you besides be completely in love with you? Cuz there's this kid I see sometimes riding my bus, and he's always staring at me, when I walk I can feel his eyes on me, and when he's in front of me -if he thinks I'm not looking- he'll turn around and walk slower, like all the way around so he's walking backwards. His home is two neighborhoods away from mine, and instead of taking the turn into his, he followed me all the way home once, he thought I couldn't hear him or his loud breathing. When I got home I ran inside and locked the doors, and when I looked out the window he was standing on my sidewalk, just looking. He's not gay so I doubt he's in love with me, what is another reason this creepy kid would be doing this? My friends say it's because he wants to be my friend but I've never shown interest in him and it doesn't look like he's all to happy with me when he walks so I don't think that's why either.

Now, let us think about that. Does it mean that if I work hard enough, I could Pope of the Roman Catholic Chuch? Or does it mean that if I worked hard enough, I could run the foolball like Emmiit Smith? Or if I worked hard enough, I could marry the most beautiful woman in the world?

Of course not! So why do people continue to say that. I was told that as a kid. I knew it was not true then and know that it is not true now. Why does the myth continue?

... at
the Orlando History Center but at the slightest rumour that
the private parts of a statue might be showing, people are clamouring to cover drape it? Which of
these is natural and which is unnatural?

My grandmother who is Jamaican used to say, "Some things are best left forgotten." This is my view, and a view shared by many Jamaicans regarding the horrors of slavery. While I respect and understand the African American view that 'to remember the past is to not repeat it' this is not a view that I share. So, if I were a parent, I would not want my child presented images of fear and hate from this very sad period in America's past. And while, I don't agree that bus loads of elementary school children are taken on tours to see it, this is an individual parent's decision. I do respect that the African American people want this exhibt included but do these images help children and how are they suposed to feel?

My dreams are always really cool when I can remember them, big imagination I guess. Is their anything I can do to dream more and remember the ones I do have, dream more vividly? Anything I can take or is their any special position that promotes dreaming?

Thanks!
