I was wondering.. I keep thinking things that are bad and that I shouldn't be thinking about... and my mom has got me taking st. johns wort but it still doesn't work.. does anyone have any good ways I can stop.. and it isn't just as easy as trying to stop because I've tried this has been going on for too long and Im worried it will ruin everything I've ever wanted to live for..

Is the mark you give yourself based on what you see in the mirror, other people's reactions to you, general high/low self esteem, or something else?

I really enjoy writing my articles and studies, but every time I have to start, I postpone it "to the eternity". I have no problem with concentration, talent, demanding issues I have to deal with etc. but when I look behind, there are days and days passed away, deadlines are coming and I haven't started yet.

Does anybody else have the same problem or know some tips how to prevent this and start working without obstacles.

just asking do you think that teaching a child by hitting or smacking him really teach him something.i think parenting is not fear..i have seen lotta parents spanking the **** outta their kids on the name of discipline and most of these kids do the same thing over and over again i mean its not a magic tool..and some kids also devolop the feeling "you can beat but you cant kill" i think talking the problem out with the kid can work also and time out can work also..parents say that if we dont whip our kids they will turn criminals i have read lotta criminal biography and trust me guys there wasnt a single one who wasnt spanked in his childhood..i think it dont make any sense sure provide a parent fast result but it dont last long..

Can hypnosis be used to lower someone's inhibitions? I'm thinking of trying it on my piano teacher (who I have a crush on) She's 22 and I'm 18. She has been hypnotized before and says she is really succeptable. I've been studyign hypnosis for about 3 years and think I can get her under fast. Should I try this? I mean monkeys can be training for very remedial task. I could setup a cleaning station with sponges and everything. I would leave the monkey at my house when I leave to work. When I come back he/she could have cleaned the toliet, floor, walls etc... In additions could monkeys watch children etc....

Why does it have to be this way?
There's a guy that I have liked for a few years now. Before that, we were friends for six years. He's been divorced since early Feb. He use to flirt with me and say things to me like "It doesn't take a brain surgeon to see how much I want to be with you." I told him I liked him. Now he won't go out on a date. He feels uncomfortable being in a room, alone with me. It's one thing to not be into someone. But to say some of things he has said and then totally back off...I just don't get it. I know he's not at all ready for a committment, but why won't he go out on an ocassional date with me? I have left him alone so he could sort out his thoughts. Then we start talking again. He opens up a little bit more then he shuts right down. I'm totally baffled. Any thoughts?

Why does she behave like that?
So there is this girl who told me in the email that she just wants to be friend and her feeling towards me is neutral. I do not know if it is true or not since I could not see her at that time.

However, despite that, I have shown her that I care for her. I suggests what is best for her.

Yet, I have seen that her behavior towards me has changed. She becomes more quiet in front of me, but from her looks I can see that there is something.. Something that I love to see.. Not hatred, but more like a kind look, I guess..

Why does she become more quiet? Is there a change in her feeling?
