I mean monkeys can be training for very remedial task. I could setup a cleaning station with sponges and everything. I would leave the monkey at my house when I leave to work. When I come back he/she could have cleaned the toliet, floor, walls etc... In additions could monkeys watch children etc....

I'm concerned the monkey could turn on me and tear my house up. It could maybe wait till I get home and take revenge. Is this possible as long as you feed it and treat it right?

I believe you are refering not to a monkey, but a great ape, such as chimpanzees. Firstly, it would be illegal for you to own a chimpanzee, and most lesser monekys(monkeys wouldn't have the skill to clean your house anyway). Second, do you really want a creature with the intelligence of a three year child around dangerous chemicals, and your children? Last, chimpanzees are social creatures, and will generally become angry and depressed if left alone for a long time.
I know this is probably a joke, but it wouldn't work in real life.

I think a monkey could be trained to do a scrubbing "motion" on the wall, etc...but the monkey is not going to have any concept of what it means for something to be "clean", only humans can conceptualize like that. Plus, the monkey is going to poop and pee all over too. Besides, i think its illegal to have a monkey.

I trained a dust mite to do the same thing. I come home and dinner is cooked, the house is clean, and the laundry is done and folded. Thank God for dust mites.
