i also need help explaining how this would relate to communicating with someone experiencing loss or change please please help me

You would communicate with someone through keywork sessions. If for instance they have been placed into the care of the local authority, or their foster placement has broken down there is the loss because they have been removed from their family or foster carers . Change is a new setting, ie; childrens home, new school. Change of enviroment.Different people will be acting as coperate parents. You will actively listen, show empathy and understanding and remain non-judgemental.Use one of your service users as an example, just change their name to an initial. If you are working with young people which it seems you are doing your NVQ you should have plenty to work on. I have just completed mine although it is still being internally verified.Good Luck

1. there are facts (they are real)
2. There are feelings about the facts(these are not reall - tehy are just emotions)

listent o teh facts - ignore the feelings.
