Can hypnosis be used to lower someone's inhibitions? I'm thinking of trying it on my piano teacher (who I have a crush on) She's 22 and I'm 18. She has been hypnotized before and says she is really succeptable. I've been studyign hypnosis for about 3 years and think I can get her under fast. Should I try this? I think there might be somem chemistry between us but so far she is too proffessional to do anything. If i got her under I would ask her how she felt and then make my move. Any advice?

Well.... first what you describe is unethical and second it is illegal. Hypnotizing someone against their will, especially for the purpose of having a social and/or sexual relationship is a good way to end up in jail. How would you feel if someone hypnotized you for the same reason?
Plus, people don't do things under hypnosis that they would not do regularly. Most likely she would just decide that you were not the type of person she wants to further associate with.

I dont totally support how you want to "trick" her into likeing you,people say hypnosis suggestions will only work if the person being hypnotized want them to.. well this is mainly true but their are back doors around it.. basicly relying on friend ship and trust.. oh and the person that said "hypnotizing someone against their will will put you in gail" is DREAMING!! LOL i dont know what country they are from but hypnosis is a natural state of mind which we all enter ATLEAST twice a day.. it is something someone does to THEMSELVES and the hypnotist acts as a guide to get them there.. umm right so ur saying helping someone relax is illegal!!! *falls to the floor laughing*
Just remember, if she doesnt want to go under, she wont, but from what you sad you have mentioned she has been under before and sounds like she wants to.. but for the sake of maintaining your relationship - as friends- you should ask her first!!!
(btw you could also try NLP and waking hypnosis tricks.. if you do it right, she wont know what your doing.. I dont know much about these techniques but im sure you can get info from google.. or yahoo or what ever ;)

You can try it but I believe hypnosis is just like being drunk. Someone who is drunk and blames their indecent actions on being drunk and out of it but in reality we all know, you really know what your doing when your drunk but just can't control your behavior do to the Alcohol. Same with hypnosis most people know that they are going under so what they say and do, they have an idea but when they come to they act like they didn't.
I have been drunk and I may have not been able to control some of the things that happened but I knew what I did but was too embarrassed to say it. I have been hypnotized and I was not actually in control of what I was doing but I knew. So what I am trying to say is you will probably get the same answer from your piano teacher if you just took her drinking.

She won't do anything against her will...so change her will!
Tell her you'd like to practice hypnosis...that you've done some reading about it and have some ideas, and wonder if she would be willing to be a test subject.
She'll likely say "yes" (and so you've changed her will).
Then practice a few simple suggestions and then a silly post hypnotic suggestion. DO NOT TRY MAKING "YOUR MOVE." It's just to experiment.
Then a couple weeks later, ask her if she'll let you do it again. She'll be much more receptive the 2nd time.
