do you feel that death is a final insult to a life thats studded with misery? or do you understand that death is a natural path for all flesh and smile, knowing that, when it happens to you, you're at peace with it??
i think one always has the power of choice in how to not fear death, and choice is always empowering...it almost amounts to seeing the glass half full <-> half empty? what thinkest thou dear yahoo answerer? (its my best friend's b/day 2day, he would've been 37, he died july last year, i feel sad, but know he's at peace and that helps me cope)

It's a very strange experience to me and still it is...
I always see number "44". In orient world, it means "death".
It's like people always see number "66" or "666" in western world.
I guess it doesn't feel ok..!? (Opposite, 66 is good in orient world)
I see the time like "XX:44"in clock anywhere(monitors, watches, stration, car, clocks on the wall....)It start from 5 years ago when I was an undergraduate sophomore. It's frequently shown at least 1-2 times a day. Sometimes even more like 4-5 times. Maybe by seeing or hearing...I'm kinda of get use to it and try not to think too much. And maybe just a coincident. Or my physical clock? Or there is something??
And now I'm living in USA, the number "44" means good right?
How would you feel if you always see a good or bad number?

(Thank you for your opinion and please do not type any improper or insult language if you don't agree this question.)

You all know what I'm talking about.

Just desperate to be heard? Does it make them feel good to provoke a reaction? Are they mad and just venting?

Why is it that men always have to hide behind the bravado act, even when they know they just want to really let go and wear their heart on their sleeve, and show the world how sensitive they really are?......

If all sensations and experiences are converted to electrical impulses that are interpreted by the brain then all our expereince of life goes on in the brain. How do we know there is a physical reality out there

We humans are most intelligent. Chimps/orangutangs are next. But evolution is slow and steady. ideally the next intelligent creature should be marginally less intelligent than humans. Why is it not.

I get dreams which vary from time to time.

Earlier I used to dream that I go back to my small town where I was brought up. It is dusk and very quiet& scary no one around. I call out to to the stray dogs (i used to do when I was a boy, they would come running from all sides with their pups). However not a single dog or pup comes. I am so sad and start running to the railway station sad

Next came a stage when i would dream of stairs, ladders, steps. I start climbing. The higher I go, the more suffocating it becomes. Sometimes the stairs end on the roof, and i get squeesed as the gap gets reduced. sometimes stairs go down and down and it gets darker and darker. At times the stairs end in middle and i need to reach out/jump to the desired floor.

Next came dreams of travelling by train. it is so quiet as if scary, I walk from compartment to compartment as if lost in a maze.

Now I dream of balancing so as not to fall off. May be on rock or floor which is very tilted or similar.

About a week ago I was playfighting with my boyfriend and hit him in the privates on accident. He was on the floor for a LONG time, with an agony face and kinda pale, and he was not saying anything, I got sooo scared!!! Then when he finally started feeling better he asked me for a glass of water with a shaky voice. He was so weak that barely could hold the glass! I hugged him and I could feel his heart beating fast. When he recovered we talked about it, and I said how sorry I was but he got angry and was always saying that I should be more careful.
The problem is after that he is avoiding me, and when I am with him he is kinda indifferent to me, and before that he was always so caring and sweet. Oh please help me; I don’t want to lose him!!!!!!
