at the time its great. i was a huge raver from 1990 - 1993 , went out twice a week, would do 3 or 4 'pills;' and a few grammes of speed - awesome time BUT I do think getting HIGH can make people have a short attention span and get bored with life easily once they stop doing the drugs.

Lucky for me I am a sports lover so now i get MORE of a high from winning a Rugby match or Tennis match - its a better quality HIGH, a rewarding HIGH attained through hard work and fitness so i feel great about myself rather than having a come down.

Go clubbing but stay off the drugs would be my advice. Sure have a few drinks but try to feed your self with having a laugh and caring about others. if your mates all do it choose some new mates! take up sport and immerse your self in it. Also find yourself a good woman and have fun with her as well. Get into writing music, breath the air, swim in the sea, travel, get a good job. Stay AWAY from DRUGS man!

As previous. It will feel good by definition (even if it all goes wrong and you spend the night staring at the windscreen of the car you went to the club in ,as the come up is too heavy). But bad in terms of the way it changes your life. There are no discernable short term effects, but it clearly changes your personallity (if you knew me you would have a good example). It makes you short term minded - you want the high you get on any class A drug, but that is not a sustainable way to live. I have not done E's for many years, but still am tempted and find life boring (in terms of alcohol and pot) in comparison. Its a short term choice - bear in mind all the risks - the drug is a mix of allsorts (at the discression of the person who produced them) and can have MDMA and speed or bath powder. I work in pharmaceuticals and there is so much regulation on quality - but with ecstacy there is none, so you cannot control your destiny. It pisses me off that they will not stop burying their heads in the sand and ensuring law ahead of safety and choice - instead they drive it all undergound and into criminality. If I had the choice again I would say fu@kit and have the fun all over again, but the conseqences are that I may be years ahead in my career. But for me the career was not the most important thing ... Perhaps if the sheep that vote the "safe" policies in were open minded enough to realise that, as a young person we all want to rebel - if they had the discussions of the pros and cons and provided us with the safe version of the drug and all available clinical data we could make up our own minds based on upfront data and not ask a random person on the internet.

Good Ecstasy may give you a buzz, but a bad dose can kill you, not worth it.
