A major roadblock in gays and lesbians getting the right to marry is the implication that they'll be granted full rights to raise children, but a great deal of people who are against gay marraige (who are wise enough to exclude religious implications, since no one cares about what God thinks anymore these days) are afraid that gays who raise children will raise them homosexual.

Has anyone yet thought of conducting an experiment where exceptionally young foster children are given into custody of gay, lesbian, and straight parents and their behavior and development is carefully monitored over the course of their lives? It's already upsetting to enough people that gays come out of straight homes, but don't we need to carefully study which household brings about which sexuality? If the results of the experiment follow no recognizable pattern, then it would be proven that sexuality of the children is NOT a result of the sexuality of the parents, and gays could be allowed to have kids.

i think that to think that there was no extreme wealth in russia is to confuse formal wealth and effective wealth, ie, paper wealth and real wealth

stalin had all the power, had effective ownership of all russian land and people - he could not have murdered millions of russians if he was not extremely powerful, ie had control and use of more money than others

effective wealth, real wealth, is in the use and control of wealth

sold to the russian people as egalitarian, propeople, just [and apparently swallowed by a lot of americans as egalitarian - perhaps by many more americans than russians], communist russia was dictatorship, fascism, tyranny, state terrorism, banditry, giant theft

did you know mussolini took most of his manifesto from the communists? - merely sweetener to make the medicine of slavery go down

that's what i think - am i wrong?

I stay in this town for the money. I am tired of the people and pretty much don't make any friends cause i don't want to get to know any more people from here. I don't want that drama in my life. It never works out for me here anymore and I am waiting till i move to reconnect with people. I am sad that people here constantly disappoint me and I know it isn't gonna be a whole lot different in another place I just can't stand this place anymore. I leave in 10 months. I still have 2 longstanding friends here that i see everyday and i have a blast with. but i have no interest in even talking to other people 'cause they are so shallow and empty. I am content waiting till i move in my current situation. I am not afraid of anything at all i mean seriously. I just don't care to meet anyone else from this town. Am I in trouble should i do anything besides focus on paying off my bills so i can leave and go back to school with money in my pocket????

everyone will agree that taking 90% of income off 90% of people will cause violence - money is a joker good, good for almost all goods, including all necessities - therefore the theft of it is the greatest injury - causing the greatest [righteous] anger and resentment - we have worse injustice than this - therefore everyone will have to agree that the injustice is the cause of the violence , and therfore that only removing the real cause will remove the violence

violence is not caused by human nature: proof: injustice and violence have escalated for 1000s of years - therefore violence was at one time much less - but human nature has not changed - if human nature has not changed and violence has changed, then clearly human nature is not the cause

can anyone appreciate this logic, ie, take on board this logic, or will people illogically continue to go on believing that human nature is the cause of wars?

happiness is totally dependent on realisticness
