So far, there is no proof and by that I mean scientific experiment that would prove that the soul exists that I know. But the branch of science philosophy has numerous theories for this. In ancient times, philosophers such as Socrates even said that the soul has three parts.

The closest I guess of the human soul that the scientific community has somewhat accepted is the subconcious. But that has more to do with the brain and not with the whole person per se.

Take a look at the tools a scientist has and also look at what he is trying to examine, or prove !
Material implements, gadgets, tools, PLUS a mind (for examining, ) that has excellent intelligence, updated scientific knowledge, powerful logic, analytical skills.. etc.. But, the level of perception just limited to sense organs (All scientific achievements are restricted to perception with sense organs !)
Now,
Soul is something that can be perceived only with a perception level that transcends sense organs ! This is the reason why the search is possible on spiritual path, the the tool is extremely alert self-awareness, persistence, open-ness, and peak energy levels(not physical brute strength, but life energy, the indication is perhaps also seen as sparkle in eye ).

soul? you can ask your senior generation. no one has ever seen what you call soul via naked eyes. i have also never heard of a transparant theory about soul from scientist other than religious people. it seems u need evident to prove some's superstition.

i understand your soul here refer to spirit... in human there are 5 main senses. Taste, Feel, Smell, Sound, look; it's from buddhism.

No, because science deals with scientific subjects, and soul is a metaphysical concept.
Only Swiss psychologist Carl Gustav Jung employed a scientific definition of soul as synonym of Psyche
