Had that choice once, picked the job. Ten years later I regretted it. My daughter growing up and I was always at work. Stress level out of sight from long hours and Job demands. Finally got smart. Gave up the money, took a job near our hometown. I make approx. 50% of what I was making 10 years ago!. Go to every one of my daughters games, plays, etc at school. We take vacations with the family now. My wife and I are both happier. My daughter likes it better also. Was hard to get used to the lower income level but it sure is nice to BBQ in the backyard now instead of grabbing something to go 4-5 nights a week. Get to go fishing too. Used to have big house, expensive car, pretty toys, no life. Now it's a small house, old truck, old toys, and a great life.

Depends on how much I'm pressed for money. I realize that I might lose the BF this way, but love alone won't put food on the table. I'd try to avoid taking that job if at all possible.

I guess it would depend on the job. If I thought that it was what I wanted to do as a career then yes I would take it. If it was something that had nothing to do with my goals and it was just good money then no I would keep looking.

If you need the money, you will find the time for your bf and gf..lunch or dinner nightly or something. It's happened and worked out fine.. Esp if you work close to home..

Nope. I value my personal happiness over monetary gains.

You have to chose priorities. You cannot have them both.
