We all feel disgusted and frustrated at times just like we all feel hopeless and sad at times. If you have prolonged feelings of disgust and frustration, it is still depression. You may have a chemical inbalance that needs to be treated or maybe you need to seek conselling or a new environment. Look at what the causes for your frustration and disgust may be. Is it a bad living/working environment? Is it the feeling that you can never get what you want from life? Prolonged experience of these feelings may cause hopelessness. Maybe you have a social anxiety or have had a traumatic event in the past that is affecting your life today. Seek professional help and also reach out to your friends and loved ones, they can help you in this time of need.
Just to clarify, you are not insane. Frustration and disgust do not mean that you are insane. Insanity is the lack of the ability to apply rational thought to your world--which you don't have.

Chronic Depression. It is a condition. Doctors will just drug you.
Try St Johns Wort, its a herb that has been proven to relieve depression better than Lithium!
When you are feeling well enough to think clearly, look for the cause of the depression and rid yourself of it.
Pharmaceutical Drugs only mask symptoms, not cure it.

See your Doctor, ask him, or rush into accident and emergency, or phone NHS direct they should be able to pigeon hole your feelings. I am not even trying, I am not qualified to help you, check up on your those that give definite answers, it could be that it happened to their Aunt Fanny's best friend one week ago last Preston guild.

No, you aren't insane. You're disgusted and frustrated with whatever it is that is upsetting you.

I really think it depends on what you feel that way ABOUT.
Your feelings may be wholly justified, in which case you wouldn't be insane.
