A girl sexually abused me and I talked to the school couselor about it and a few weeks later she brought me into her office with the abuser (she's in my class) and blamed everything on me. Can I report her?

I was discussing this earlier with a friend, and it really got me thinking. When I was a child, my father died. In addition to that, almost all of my fathers family had died at that point too- his brothers, father, etc. The only people left in my father's family have disowned me- won't talk to me and haven't since I was four and my father died. My mother's family is great, but what I don't understand is why I so desperately want to be a part of my father's family. Why? If it matters, and it probably (does) does, I'm a son, not a daughter. Damn, the last one too!

Like if you don't love your mother and father, is that wrong, or does it indicate something is wrong with you?

I have noticed this based on the experiences I've had with the artists I know. As distant as they sometimes are, they know very much about the behind the scenes work going on in the world.

Recently, i have problem with my friends spreading gossips (from me)which isn`t true to my best friend, my beloved sister still in the hospital and having another operation, i have so many homeworks from my language course but i am doing well with my job. I am bit sad and there are times when i am alone my tears were flowing on my cheeks. My closest friends told me i look sick and pale. whenever i am with people i smile & shared laughters but when i am alone i have the saddest thoughts. I live far from home, in a foreign land which i also love. I have a lot of friends and in fairness some of them are my great friends. My friends are my family here. Please be nice and can anyone tell me if i am just stress or depress... Thank you all.

it's like saying: the top block in the pyramid is glorious, take all the other blocks away

we see the same pattern in the golden calf story: ppl feeling richr but making themselves poorer

it is the will to project an IMAGE of our selves - to SEE beauty, heaven, the glorious, the sweet, the shining

is this why it is so hard for ppl to see overpay in $500,000/hr?

is this why ppl cant see my motivation argument? ppl think: if we dont hav limitless fortune, how do we motivate ourselves? forgetting that 99% underpay is 99% DISmotivation - they cant see the other blocks in the pyramid - forgetting that fairpay for work is motivation for everyone -

ppl love inheritance, lotteries & getrichquick schemes, forgetting that unlimited inheritance, lottery prizes and getrichquick schemes [money without work] is work without money for 99% - making violence ever-escalating, as it has done for 1000s of yrs

the peak=pyramid error ties in with our tunnelvision error - seeing part, peak

How do you like your man?
I had a discussion with one of my female friends yesterday. I which I stated that most women like their man to be nice when need be, but nasty when can be: a man that will treat you nice but that can also tell you what he wants, talk dirty to you, get you to please him bedwise(giving you the same pleasure in return of course) She disagreed which has left me wondering. What do you ladies prefer. a goodie two shoes doormat kind of man, a nice/nasty combination or a straight out bad man. please motivate your answers.

Or congenial and loving?

2006-10-09 10:19:51 · 16 answers · asked by Anonymous in Psychology

I must preface this by saying that I mean no injury to either sex by asking this I am merely courious. Please do not take this as an indication of me being sexist for I am not. But here goes:
Men have also been I a position of power over women, but why has it been like that? The only logical conclusion that I can come to is that men are just inherently better then women, so from the very begining men have had a physical, intellectual, etc. advantage over women, and thus have taken the dominate position. Thus question could also be extended to other races. The white race has always been dominate, so is there an intrisic aspect of the white race that makes them better? Or has it been mere luck that the white race and the male sex have succeded in subjuagating other sexes and races?
Just some question so stew over
