Recently, i have problem with my friends spreading gossips (from me)which isn`t true to my best friend, my beloved sister still in the hospital and having another operation, i have so many homeworks from my language course but i am doing well with my job. I am bit sad and there are times when i am alone my tears were flowing on my cheeks. My closest friends told me i look sick and pale. whenever i am with people i smile & shared laughters but when i am alone i have the saddest thoughts. I live far from home, in a foreign land which i also love. I have a lot of friends and in fairness some of them are my great friends. My friends are my family here. Please be nice and can anyone tell me if i am just stress or depress... Thank you all.

You sound pretty stressed. Is there any chance you can take a break from what you are doing, maybe to spend some more time with your sister?

If not, and you don't have any other immediate family you can turn to for support where you are at, confide to one of your closest friends. They are obviously worried about you and maybe you can find help there.

Make sure during this time that you take care of yourself. Eat regularly, do your usual exercise and take care of your appearance. You will find that making yourself do these little routines will help and strengthen you. If you can't do these things for yourself, then do them for your sister. She needs you.

And I understand what it is like to be a foreigner. It can be very lonely. But don't worry: you are not alone.

Well, an anxiety attack or panic attack you would usually become very dramatic and over react and have trouble breathing and sometimes begin to cry uncontrollably etc. This doesn't sounds like one, but you may have been caused an minor anxiety attack because of your wrist thing, which may be paranoia, obsessive compulsive disorder, or something. And that little 'problem' you have with your wrist, may have just made you distressed. Maybe go to your local doctor and tell them the way you'vee been feeling, they will have a better idea than most people on here. Good luck

If your friends were TRUE friends they would not spread gossip about you. Talk to one of your closest friends, the one you feel you can rely on , tell them how you feel or phone relate, i am sure they can help you. Please don't feel down remember that it is quite normal to feel sad and cry and i am sure you usually feel better after crying. I have a friend who will play real sad S-african music and then she sits and cries to her hearts content. Then she turns the music off , phones me and we go for a cup of coffee. You need to talk to someone and i hope your sister will get better soon.:)))

You seem to be suffering from depression. Add the stress it's a combination of them two you need a break and counseling will help you to disucss this more clearly. Also a low dosage of natural stess vitamins might help. Good luck

Too much stress can lead to depression, which sound like the case. Talking with someone to deal with the stress should help. That's what counselors are there for.

if your friends were REAL friends, they would not spread gossip about you. i thought my friends were spreading gossip about me, and i have a lot of friends. i got a lot of sources and figured out that they didnt even make a peep about me. i love my friends like a family and we even made up our own family tree. that is what i consider true friends, so i just think you are just stressing a little bit.

hope your friends are TRUE friends!!

StressED or DepressED I think you mean.
If I was that bad with the English language I think I'd be depressed.

Anyway, get your head out of your As$ and stop worrying so much what people think or say.
Look to the positive, you've already said you have good friends, if you can't be positive, what's the point of life?

It sounds to me that you may be suffering from(relatively)mild depression.Chronic stress often leads to depression,so that may be the cause.I would suggest a visit to a doctor to discuss how you've been feeling.
