I can remember age 4. I was in Kindergarten. (Back then it was allowed, and it was held in a church.) I had to color an Abe Lincoln silhouette hat green and didn't pay attention because I thought it should be black and colored it black. A girl named Sarah Waters told on me and I was so scared I tried coloring the black over with green. She got in trouble for tattling. I remember other things in Kindergarten too. My brother gave me a black eye and a few days later, I picked up a stray cat and it scratched my other eye and I had 2 black eyes. It was a memorable year.

Needless to say. They said even though I was ready, I was too young to go on to first grade the next year, so I had to sit out a year.

Read that wrong the first time. Oops! First recollection... Hmmm,.. I have many...

Me about 4 jumping over the car seat from front to back n back to front cos my baby brother had yanked the car into reverse... and we were going backwards down a hill... ended up hitting a light post... maybe not a recollection.. My sister has told us this a TON of times... Its a family story now.

There was the time I was about 4 and I bit my babysitter, and she ran out screamign to my dad that I'd bit her, and he hollared to me.. and I came out, scared, and he yelled at me, and so I came over to him and he spanked my butt, then... bit me. I never bit again.

There was another time I was about 6 and the house out behind ours caught on fire, while I was napping... I woke up to an empty house and wanddered outside to where everyone was watching the fire department putting the fire out. Were told that 3 of "Aunt Chi Chi's" puppies died... Sad day.

I have many recollections... I was about 3 or 4 and running through the field of dandilions and other wild flowers out behind our home...

So I would say about 4-ish...

for the longest time i thought it was a dream that i had when i was younger but when i talked to my dad about it, it ended up it was something i used to do when i was 3. What i thought was a dream was me playing with these 2 boys in a huge metal tub. It ended up that I would play with these 2 neighbor boys in this big metal thing. i guess it was like a horse trough (but was used as a pool instead of trough or something)
(and i know i was 3 because this was in independance MO, and i moved from there to another city when i was 3)
really weird..other than that i have no more memories til i was 5.
