I get dreams which vary from time to time.
Earlier I used to dream that I go back to my small town where I was brought up. It is dusk and very quiet& scary no one around. I call out to to the stray dogs (i used to do when I was a boy, they would come running from all sides with their pups). However not a single dog or pup comes. I am so sad and start running to the railway station sad
Next came a stage when i would dream of stairs, ladders, steps. I start climbing. The higher I go, the more suffocating it becomes. Sometimes the stairs end on the roof, and i get squeesed as the gap gets reduced. sometimes stairs go down and down and it gets darker and darker. At times the stairs end in middle and i need to reach out/jump to the desired floor.
Next came dreams of travelling by train. it is so quiet as if scary, I walk from compartment to compartment as if lost in a maze.
Now I dream of balancing so as not to fall off. May be on rock or floor which is very tilted or similar.

I think you're feeling very insecure about your life now. You do have deep worries and fears. And you are gripped with doubts and indecision.
Going back to your old town and feeling lost and lonely indicates that you have no confidence in who you are. You feel worthless and ashamed of your origins. The dogs and pups indicate family and friends. You feel abandoned and shunned by them. However, you must have managed to deal with this anxiety to some extent, because you stopped having this dream.
Ascending anything is a good sign and means you are making progress in life and in your work. It shows you have been coping as best as you can, and there have been some successes. Reaching the roof means you have reached some of your goals. But you feel uncomfortable about doing so. Despite the successes, it is not smooth sailing. Descending means setbacks and disappointments. You start doubting again whether you can make it, and wonder about where you are going. You feel you are failing, that there is no where to go and no one you can turn to.
Travelling in a train indicates progress in your life, even a rise in income. But you feel empty about your achievements. You feel lost, trapped and alone.
The last dream means you are trying hard to balance everything in your life, even though you know it's an impossible task. But you push yourself to keep balancing.
These dreams should be looked at in the context of what's been happening in your life recently and currently.
You probably need to examine your life as it is now and make some adjustments. You seem to be driving yourself too much and there is a danger that you may go out of kilter. There are probably many demands on you and your time, and although you seem to be handling things okay, you sense that you may lose control.
Learn to say no, and to turn others down. Think of yourself more. Be a little selfish even. You can't be everything to everyone. If you feel you should not be in your present job, have the courage to look for work which you enjoy. You have the capabilities to make it. Find a close friend or two and confide in them. Bottling things up inside is not healthy. Your well-being and happiness are vital for a successful and fulfilling life.
Good luck!

Our wacky, wonderful subconscious mind plays lot of games while we are sleeping. Some of the scary dreams are just our fears being worked on while we sleep. during the day when we are mentally active the subconscious has to take a back seat to activity, but once we are asleep it can run wild. The brain can work at an alarminlgy fast rate during sleep because it has no distractions. REsearchers have connected wires to subjects and would wake them after only two minutes of dreaming to ask what they saw. Many would tell them they had been dreaming for hours when actually it was only the two minutes.
I don't believe our dreams are to be taken too seriously, they are after all the random babblings of a brain not really awake.

I know how you feel. Every now and then I experiance the absolute weirdest dreams. Most dreams are based off of real experiences. Things that help me is if you watch TV alot before the night, I turn off the TV right after a good part. Like a funny moment or a happy ending, and you have a good chance of dreaming happy dreams. You could also think happy thoughts while lying in bed trying to sleep! Hope this helps!

There are many explainations for dreams. Some say they don't mean anything. What I get is you are going through a big change in your life right now, and you are a little worried about how much it will change you from who you were. You still want to do it though, even when it looks like it wont be easy. I don't know what it is, but it's something you really should think about. I think you will make the right decision though^_^

Your dreams about something or someone your not sure of in life......your just looking for the next step in your life but your either scared to go and get it..or if someones looking for you to commit to a meaningful relationship...your being a little wary......life is a big balancing act and it's important to put your life in some sort of order.......be more focussed and direct in life and you'll never have dreams like these again....

I don't know for certain "why." I can only tell you what I got out of all your dreams "together." It seems you didn't "finish" something, and you also had a hard time letting go. Weather it be your dogs, your childhood, or whatever you didn't "finish" that you felt you "could" have done a better job on....I don't know, just my opinion.

I know what you mean. I have dreams like that when I'm not comfortable with where I'm at or what I'm doing. Being too cold when I sleep can also affect my dreams.
I advise do some thing positive. or sleep with more blankets. best wishes.

dreams takes us to places and times in our lives that we can't seem to get over, maybe just maybe there's something there you didn't finish then you was younger and need to close that chapter in your life, maybe you need to go back and see it for your self to get closure on this so you can go on with your life, and if you don't just let it go and don't eat so late.

You are trying to deal subconsciously with fears that you have. You don't deal with them when your awake so your mind deals with them while you sleep. And until you deal with them awake they will continue.
