I have lived in a metropolitan area most of my life and I am sick of the traffic, the struggle to pay a higher cost of living, the wear and tear on me and my car. But I am also afraid that I would get bored silly and/or not be able to support myself if I move an hour out into the country. I am resourceful and frugal so luxuries aren't important to me. Anyone done it and never looked back?

Initially, I thought this asking questions or answering other's questions is just another way of useful spending one's time. But of late, I find, from the several answers that pour from several angles, that any question can be viewed from several dimensions, some of which, even the asker could not have thought of. Evidently, not only a question provokes or kindles and thereby enhances the knowledge-base of the answering community, asking a question itself provides a better opportunity for the asker to view the doubt in his mind from several directions.
Left to myself, I feel, that any question that does not provoke you to jump to answer is no question. And every answer that is flashed is just a reflection of the several dimensions of every question. And in that sense, every answer is "the best answer" since it adds to the knowledge of the asker.
I invite comments.

Serious replies only please. I keep dreaming about being in a fancy place, like a hotel or shopping mall, then trying desperately to find a bathroom, only to find it either filthy or without a door to the stall, or in some instances, both. I have had this dream several times lately. I also have a dream of being lost in a building and every time I think I've found my way out, it turns into something else, for instance, I go up the escalator and it's a dark attic, I go through a door and it's an office, I go through another door and I'm out on a ledge. I go back through the office, down the escalator and its' now a mall. This is also a recurring dream and I always wake up before I find my way out. Can anyone interpret either or both dreams?

A few weeks ago I tried to commit suicide by jumping over a 50 foot high ledge to the concrete below. I was held back by 3 security guards, who I nearly took with me. As I went to make my jump he shouted out my name in one continuous note for 30 seconds or more. When I was pulled to safety he was crying and told me "Mark, I thought I was going to see my best friend die today"
The reason for my attempted suicide is that I am in the middle of a relationship breakdown. I did a self referal to a psychiatric hospital and have since recovered and my feelings about trying or even commiting suicide have gone. Just after my discharge from hospital my friend (he is 22 and I am 46) has taken to listening to my heart saying that he wants to hear the one precious thing that is keeping me alive. He does this each time we have a cuddle. He cannot explain to me why he has taken to listening to my heart except that he was very shocked and upset that he might have lost me to death.

I had a vision the other day and I'm not lying. I can barely remember it, but i understand the major message. I'm not one who believes in the supernatural or stuff like that, so this is freaking me out.
In my vision or dream or whatever you want to call it, i saw the united states under attack. It wasnt by terrorists, but one of our own citizens. This person had some kind of foreign weapon and killed many people. This all i remember, but its freaking me out. Im having deja vu like all the time and the vision was so vivid and clear i cant get it out of my head. Its driving me crazy! What can I do to forget about all the crazy stuff thtas been happening to me lately?

Is it 'the look of someone' is something you perceive as 'being sexy,?’ and which may well have nothing to do with That Person and how they feel or perceive themselves at all?

Or is it You?

Describing someone as 'sexy' may just be that members of society are sticking labels onto that person and providing him / her with their fantasies and their Expectations.

Being described 'Hot' is first of all, in the mind of the viewer and tells us about the viewer, and not necessarily the subject (or is it the 'object'?).

What does the person labelled have to say about such labelling?

She / he may enjoy the notoriety, but that is an 'IMAGE' to live up to in order to stay employed in a manner and style they are (suddenly) become accustomed to.

It's something like the old Romantic Image of airline cabin crew. It's A FANTASY manufactured and projected by advertising.

Just how long could you (realistically) to maintain yourself in that role, with ALL of our expectations of you?
