Not sure. I drank heavily the night before my SATs and atleast two AP exams and did fairly well (1360 SAT ... I think, it has been a while and a 4 and 5 on the respective AP exams). Of course, I might have done better if I hadn't been boozing.

It important check spelling, grammar, not to repeat the same thing over and over again. Stick to the main points. Decide your points, write subpoints. You should elaborate on the subpoints.
