Has anyone ever had the urge to just give up and 'leave'. I'm not talking suicide or anything like that. Has anyone ever gotten so sick and tired or their life they just wanted to leave and start over completely? I've been having these urges lately. I'll never do it, of course, but the temptation is always there. I'm in college and I seriously have no idea what I'm doing here. I have lost contact with most of my close family and friends and I think my mom is the only reason I don't just 'leave'. Anyone else ever feel this way? Did you go through with it or let the temptation slide?

Every time I say or do something which my boyfriend really doesn't approve on the least he really gets furious! And when I say furious, I mean HELL furious... The annoying part there is that he really becomes too paranoid afterwards. I tried talking to him about it. I even told him to take anger management, but instead he got mad at me.
How could I possibly tell him to be patient and avoid getting angry at the smallest things? Trust me, I really think he does need it, being the kind of person who always gets himself into trouble for being so impatient.

I am too sensitive. I let everything get to me. At work, when my manager criticizes me, I get my feelings hurt. People hurt my feelings when they talk about me. I like honesty, but I can't handle the truth. I cry about everything. How do I stop this sensitivty and get some toughness?

I'd like to know what has started American supremacy. To my knowledge, American victory over Japanese imperialism and Allied victory at the end of WW2 was the time when America emerged as the super power. Before that it was the British that had the supermacy. Before British, it was the French. Before French, it was the time before the East and West had met, and China clearly was leading but at that time men didn't expand much beyond their border due to lack of technology. So Chinese influence didn't reach Europe. Genghis Khan, who is fairly unknown in the West, was an exception.
I'd also have to say that British supermacy was helpful for America to take over when British retired due to very similar lineage, culture and same language. Germany's ant-semitism was also big factor. Had it not been for that Germany would have been 1st nation to have nuclear weapon and that would have changed the fight between Allied and Axis.
I know some Americans are adamant that America has been

When they're not... for instance some people think they're so good looking, young and wanted, yet they are seriously overweight, old and haven't had a date in 20 yrs. It's like they live on another planet. It doesn't appear to be low self-esteem, but they don't see themselves as others really see them. They are convinced that anyone that is the least bit smiling is "attracted to them." How do you deal with people like that who won't stop bragging about themselves?

My boyfriend seem to be true loner. I know many people out there claim to be a loner but party every weekend or so. My boyfriend doesn't really seems to have very many friend at all, hardly recieve any phone call, doesn't like to go out to place where lot of people are, and do pretty much everything by himself. He is a fun person to be around, he like to go out and do lot of outdoor things, travel, and other things but he always seem to do it by himself. I'm wondering why are some people like that?

I asked another question and I realized something. I realize my boyfriend doesn't own television, cd player, radio or anything like that. He have huge fish tank in place where most would have television and a lot of books. He also have fish tank in almost every rooms.I know he have moneys for television or radio because he have a pool table, laptop, and a several cameras.

I know he doesn't have any religion so it can't be religion, he doesn't live with anyone either. When I asked him about it, he simply say he doesn't like it. I'm wondering if there's more to it than he's letting in?
