Me too... but whatever happens, think of the efforts you gave in to reach this point in your life... We are born winners in this world from time of conception, we made it... Don't drown yourself into negativity... i too have experienced pulling myself down, and even to the point of wanting to end it... but i realized i'd be a sour graper then, a sour loser to just give up... Think of the situation you are in now, as some obstacle and temptation... So go on with it,Let "it" be it... see the brighter side of things... Believe me, if you start seeing the brighter side of things, that's when you'll understand the meaning and purpose of why you're still here, why you exist... I hope i made sense here... Well good luck...
LIFE is beautiful my dear and so YOU are. Drink a glass of water, breathe in heavily... find someone to HUG, if you can't then HUG your pillow, everytime you sleep HUG your pillow, this will add comfort to you physiologically, and unconsciously emotionally... TRUST me... you can do it... I made it too... Again, good luck.

The urge to up and leave??? HA HA HA EVERY DAY !!!
If I had my choice I would not be in the suburbs of Philly! I would be in the country with clean air and a lot of trees with peace and quiet. I would be watching the wildlife in my fields as I drink my morning coffee. Go for a swim in the pond, ride horses, or what ever...
BUT to be a responsible person you have to do what you have to do and even if it really sucks, you need to stick with it and finish it out.
Then after college, when you have that good paying job you just may be able to have a life that you enjoy...

Yea, I had a job for 10 years, I absolutely hated it, every minute of it, the pay was huge so I stayed, then it was just too much, so I left, I now make less money but, I have normal hrs, and good benefits. College is finite, it has an ending in a few yrs. I bailed out of college, it took 20 yrs to make up P/T at night, I heavily suggest that you use my knowledge, and stay in school, it's stupid and pointless but, it will pay off in the end, TRUST ME ! Stay there, you'll be finished soon !

oh my God, Felicity! i have these thoughts like a zillion times !! you have to really reconsider the goals and expectations in your life and if you don't have any, FIND some ! life is good because of how you make it !! are you alone ; find people ! are you without love ; go girl and make the choice ! fall in love ! and don't let them choose you, YOU choose whoever you want. there's no such thing as temptation. it's just the emotional dead-end you are into. believe me : there's only one thing to do : find a new interest NOW. and try to remember : WE ARE GIVEN THIS LIFE TO DO THE BEST WE CAN WITH IT-IN EVERYONES' PERSONAL OPINION OFCOURSE-HERE'S YOUR CHANCE TO PROVE IT. best wishes, keep the faith, you are not alone in this crazy, stressed world....

Yes, there is a time when you feel burned out. When you don't enjoy your work anymore. There is a time you just pack up and leave. You want to start anew, reinvent yourself, and pursue other things.
It's better if you assess yourself now, know what you want, find your passion, so you won't suffer any longer. It's better to start now, while you're young.

Soon the sun WILL shine.

you need money to get away from the money system.
an education helps you get a better job.
if there's any doubt in your mind why not get a casual minimum wage job and see how the "rest" live?
