Social Science - 16 September 2006

K, it was my last day of work a few months ago in an old job, and we finished at 4pm.. so I got my stuff and left. He doesn't do jack, he was just a lazy priviledged geek who got handed his job. So he threatens to not give me a reference if I didn't mop the floor.

So he started shouting at me and called me a skiver. When he worked weekends and I worked ALL week, ALL year round. But instead of hitting him I put the finger in his face and told him to go to hell. The real question is: when the shouting started, screw the cameras, I should have hit him in the face really hard, right?

So many things exist that we humans have no knowledge of...so when someone tells you that they have seen your double, do you believe that this double looks exactly like you...and i'm not talking twins here, i'm talking about a complete stranger that has your face...do you believe it's true?.....if so how many of you have seen your double?.....

Hi ,I am 22 year old male and suffer from Social Phobia . I aspire to do business in future - say 4-5 years down the line . Are there sucessfull business man who are social phobic ? Any famous personalities who have become sucessful in entreprenurship despite suffering from Social Phobia in early part of their life ? I know a lot of shy people who have become leaders ...but people with Social Phobia are not heard of in media ...
Importantly is it possible to treat Social Phobia and reduce it so that one can pursue their interests without unwanted concerns ?
Please advice , I appreciate ur answers a lot

I am now a college freshman, and I am Asian. I feel kinda awkward whenever I go to a party of white people; i am not welcome, and they don't really give a damn about me. And I had this bad incident when I went to a dance about a month ago; this white dude sprinkled water at me. So I am kinda reluctant to go to parties these days.
