Apart from the obvious of course. What typical male qualities do you like, admire or even envy?
e.g. I personally envy the fact that women can turm me every way round just with a cute smile while we men need to open all registers for that.
So why do you like us men?

Most Male friends I have got love to chat to me as an equal not as some one to knock off I like that in men. Also the man I am with will do any thing for me , as we share every thing , a lot of arguments with men and women are about money , if they pool their money together then no arguments, pay the bills do the shop, and share whats left if 1 needs clothes 1 week then the other will get theirs the following week, Also personally I like a clean shaven man, who looks after his appearance. I admire men for their strength, two big arms to protect their lady with, wrapped around them to keep them feeling safe. The envy bit as most prob been said if a woman messes around with a good few blokes shes a **** but a man he is a stallion , or a hell of a lad if he goes with a load of women !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I choose women by their resistance to extremism. If she's balanced in all things like my parents, she's attractive. If she's physically able enough to carry a 30 to 50 lb backpack and possibly stay on the Appalachian Trail in the Winter for 3 days with me, she's definitely attractive. A roughly built girl who's not drawn to extremism in any respect is attractive. I love balance and calmness. If she needs it to be a different adventure every day, or pay lack to emotion, or anything less than sensitive balance, then she's not attractive. Of course, I'm not sure if there are any other men like me, so you're getting a unique description of an ideal lady here. Physical fitness is paramount. Hmm. I just read the other answers on here. I guess I'm the 1 out of 10 or more kind of guy. Hope the description is a help.

Wow a lot. I love their bodies, not just the obvious either. I love the way the muscles show more than on women, and I LOVE men's hips bones!
I love their voices; don't have to be deep and macho.
I love the way men can you make you laugh out loud ... they have a really silly, whacky, even childish sense of humour that women don't have.
I love the expression on men's faces when they are shaving; they always look like they are concentrating so hard on everything they are doing.
I love the way they get all bothered about unimportant stuff like football stats and obsess over everything. It's so cute!

Well, used to be I'd tell you I like men because they don't gossip and aren't petty or whine-y. However, I have to tell you...I keep running into more men who gossip, are petty and whine like it's an Olympic event and they're in contention for a gold.
(*sigh*) Maybe I'm just getting old and crochety.
The things I like about men....
I like men because they laugh, not giggle. I like the fact they can communicate more in a look than some women can in 5,000 words. I like the odd sense of humor in reasonable doses. I like that MOST men look sexy in a tuxedo. I like the way a man smells when he gets out of the shower just from using soap.

Physically I love a man's smile and his sexy voice. I'm a sucker for blue eyes and cute butts. As far as personality, I like a confident man. The kind with strong shoulders. I love a man with wisdom and knowledge. I never went for guys that always kiss up to me because sometimes I like the challenge of pleasing him. That doesn't mean I like an arrogant man that wouldn't give me the time of day either. Just a nice balance of all that I mentioned. I also like a man that I know I can trust and wont play mind games to test my love for him.

I can tell you all the things I don't like, like the fact that many guys assume all we're interested in is "the obvious", or that you have to put on an act to impress, or that you send out mixed signals or...actually this could go on a while!
There are some guys who can get to a girl with just a smile but it has to be a genuine, warm, friendly smile, a smile that shows interest in her for who she is and not as an object of lust. Most guys if they "like" a girl can only ever manage a leer cos all they're thinking about is "the obvious" or they are to self assured that she will fall at their feet.
I like guys I can be friends with, who don't see themselves as all that and are really genuine, honest, beautiful (and I don't just mean looks) and not thinking about how I'd look naked or how soon they can try to bed me.

What I like about men? When they have loads of intelligence and achievement but are modest about themselves. When they focus on you like there's nobody else in the room. When they put everyone else ahead of themselves. When they really listen, and aren't just trying to think of what they're going to say next. A quiet man with inner strength -- it's devastatingly attractive to women! Oh that, and a beautiful face too.

One of the absolute best (non-obvious) qualities about my husband is that he makes me laugh, like no other can. I'm talking about head-back - out loud, can't stop laughing!
That is so priceless to me!
Except he's figured out that this will get him out of trouble, so whenever I try to be mad at him, he just makes me laugh. What a funny jerk! :0)

I like them in all kinds of ways. Just like you men look at women and see the variety. But I must say a sexy smile with a twinkle in their eyes and the way they smell.

First of all not all women use men,,, I like men to make me feel protected,I like it when they are not afraid of getting alittle dirty like on fixing things,to be respectful,and one of the things that makes me weak is when they know how to cook;:)...but of course if they open all registers for me that's an A+,,,,,
