Serious replies only please. I keep dreaming about being in a fancy place, like a hotel or shopping mall, then trying desperately to find a bathroom, only to find it either filthy or without a door to the stall, or in some instances, both. I have had this dream several times lately. I also have a dream of being lost in a building and every time I think I've found my way out, it turns into something else, for instance, I go up the escalator and it's a dark attic, I go through a door and it's an office, I go through another door and I'm out on a ledge. I go back through the office, down the escalator and its' now a mall. This is also a recurring dream and I always wake up before I find my way out. Can anyone interpret either or both dreams?

First dream: You have been disappointed by someone or something recently. You had higher expectations which were not fulfilled.
Second dream: You are trying to find a solution to something and have looked at different alternatives, but haven't found the right solution yet.

Dreams are very complex to dicier. There several clues to examine. First: Try to find a connection. This is usually a feeling (loss, fear, desperation). After having these dreams try and write down the feelings, colors, smells, repeated images, peoples faces.
The list of items above are related to already experienced realities. Dreams depict some portion of realities. For example, the feeling of being loss as a child in a large place may have actually happened or you may have a fear of getting loss. The mind has its way of protecting us and lets know things when we are ready.
Colors and smells and the others are items in reality that are in-printed in our memories. There are triggers that happen without you realizing it which set thoughts into motion.
So what do you do. How do you stop these dreams. Talk to someone you care about. Even if you feel these dreams are silly. Talking about it may a take away the strength it has over you.
If they keep you up for an extended number of days seek professional help

My personal experience with a repetitive dream means a wake up call to the john. LOL
It seems that an incomplete trip may be a project that is on your mind that needs to be either: brought back to fruition and more organized. The mind sends signals to the subconscious portals and the dream state tells the mind what they think about it.

It is actually a train station you are in. There are various platforms. A really cool place. Three trains will come and then go. You are supposed to get on one train, but you don't know which one, so you are scared to get on any. Since you did not choose to get on any train, you will be left there with the only place to go being the nasty bathroom. In the bathroom you will find others whom have neglected to get on any of the trains also. They will beat and torment you, and you have no way to leave.
Has someone died that you are wanting to talk with really bad for whatever reason?

I've had ones like this about needing to use the bathroom. One time I went in a fancy piano bench!
What are you searching for in your life? Are you looking for a mate? A home? A job?A way out of a bad situation? This is usally what this means but every one is different too.
Write it down every time you dream it and over time I bet something will come to you.

i had one similar when i was a kid. we went to church on easter sunday and they allways had a big breakfast. after it was over, there was a set of stairs in the left corner of the room. i would try to go up them, but there was something evil at the top, so i never made it. yours could be disgust over social class and the bullshit you have to go thru to get to someplace you dont really believe in anyway. it seems theres a lot of dead ends, kinda like your being forced to take a path your uncomfortable with. mine turned into a problem with organized religon. theres something there that just isnt right. dont worry about it, but let it be your guide. you will find out sooner or later what it really means.

Referring to the latter dream this responder would be willing to bet that you would change something in your given set of circumstances if you could - or knew exactly how - I have recurring dreams about being in an airplane and it never lands and this makes sense because my life holds a great deal of uncertainty.

Are your friends doing things that are dangerous and you've thought of moving on? Or are you heading off to college and leaving behind friends? It sounds to me like you have some reason nagging at you that you have to make some changes and you're not sure they're willing to join you.

I think on the outside your life is, or seems, great but on the inside you want something else. Maybe you're afraid to give up what you have in order to get something else.
