I think a puppy is the best stress reliever. They definitely do look at you like you are the best thing in their life.

HI: Go walking, jogging, practice your favorite sport. If you are interested in practice yoga this is an excellent stress reliever not only for your mind but for your body,there is always a time for yourself.. Good luck!

A long, leisurely meal and talk with my husband.

Stroking our cats.

Getting totally absorbed in something - e.g. sitting down at my beading tray and planning out a new necklace, or doing an intricate piece of embroidery.

A deep, warm bath with aromatic oils, a good book to read and a glass of Chardonnay!

Walking on the beach in Whitby or Norfolk.

Depends on what I'm stressin' over or how stress I'm really am (and is anger involved)...

==>music...jazz is wonderful!
==>smoking...ok, no preachin' please! It's so irregular, it's pathetic (a pack may last 2-3 weeks w/ months lapsing before purchasing another)
==>drinking alcohol; glass of milk
==>yard work
==> house work/remodeling project
==> reading
==>playing solitaire, texas hold 'em poker (computer)
==>walking

Sitting quietly, for about 15 minutes, eyes closed, doing nothing, handing over oneself to nature, just a silent witness within !

Exercise. Hard sweaty, don't think you can go another five minutes type exercise. Gives that adrenaline something to do, and gets you a nice endorphin rush.

taking a hot bath and ignoring the world. half way thru the bath i start to evaluate what stresses me out and try to eliminate it from my life.
