I don't know if I could say I expected it but really would have liked it and that was to have my own Soft tail Harley by the time I was 50 years old, I am now 54 and still am working on getting it by the time I am 60 years old. I did get a Pretty HOT car though.

A home! I really thought that by my age, I would have a home of my own....just a small modest home, with a yard, in a decent neighborhood. But in my area, small homes in so-so neighborhoods are upwards of $210,000. Even with 10% down, the mortgage payments are formidable -- more than 60% of my gross pay. ANd I make pretty decent money!
I may die and never know the joy of home ownership. THAT'S depressing!

A husband. We've been living together for three years, I would have thought he would have at least proposed by now.
