Don't they see the facts (photos, films, survivors, documents, etc.)? It's not feasible to conjure all that up just to justify the creation of Israel or something. It just pisses me off.

I'm a man with a fairly bad temper. I tend to have no in-between. I am either well, or furious. My temper is so bad, I tend to seclude myself when I am angry to avoid violence.

Yet, even I can't comprehend why a man would abuse his wife. In my fervant opinion, any man that abuses his wife or children is a coward. He does so, because he knows he can't bully men. He feels empowered abusing the weaker.

I know not all do. I would think these would be excellent fields for women. Great pay, good working conditions, etc. But according to what I have heard they avoid them. Why?

I thought this would be a good forum to get out my anger & seek some advice at the same time. A few months ago we found out my father had a malignant brain tumour, this was after undergoing two unsuccesful operations. He wasn't around much for most of my life, he was always working and lived apart from the faimly, on another half of the world. As kids we were always stuck between two countries, but I've established myself here now and am really not planning on going back right now. I'm 19, everyone says I have a life ahead of me. I come from a family of over-achievers my father has a doctorate and my mother has two, we were always told as children that if our parents had a combined three doctorates we were expected to get six. The one compliment my father gets all the time is that he's a hard worker. He would leave at 4AM when we were asleep and return from 10-12 PM, when we were asleep. He was the youngest ever Vice President of the University he now teaches in... ->

The term African-American in the U.S. is used to refer to black people with African ancestry. Since in this case we are incorrectly using the term ‘American’ to refer to United Statesians, what should we call black people in the U.S. that ARE NOT U.S. citizens i/e a black man from Brazil in the U.S.. We can’t use the term African-American because he is not a United Statesian... if you choose to refer to him simply as ‘black’ why is it OK to do so with folks that are not United Statesians and not U. S. Citizens?
