Don't they see the facts (photos, films, survivors, documents, etc.)? It's not feasible to conjure all that up just to justify the creation of Israel or something. It just pisses me off.

I had a very good friend who read a book by one of the holocost debunkers of the time and I could not change his mind.

Now, understand, I lived in Europe for a number of years and, during that time, I visited the sites of many of the death camps... even took pictures of what remained... the ovens... the burial pits... the gas chambers etc. No matter what I did, I could never convince my friend, Kurt, that the Holocost had actually happened. He is dead now... but went to his grave believing what some guy said in his book rather than what I said based on my own, real experiences.

Kurt had never been outside America. He had never traveled to any foreign country... not even Canada or Mexico. And yet, like so many Americans, he thought he was an expert on the history and culture of Europe although he knew nothing that he didn't get out of a book.

I don't know where people get the nonsense they spout about how there was never a holocost. One only needs to visit ANY of the death camps... Daucau is even reachable by Tram... and be able to walk away saying the Holocost never happened.

Some people think that the fact of the holocaust has been used as a means of propaganda. They feel that lots of other people have been slaughtered throughout history but none of them invented a phrase like anti-semite to make it seem as though they were the only people in history to have ever been victims. Denying the holocaust may have been a strategy to counter this notion.

It is called ignorence. People don't believe it because their parents never taught them that. Nor did their parents either. It's only passed down through those who know. And believe me even some Jews are also taught it never happened. Look No one made it up. It's a horrible tragedy and It did happen! Just go to your local Holocaust Museum. Better speak with a surviver. It will bring tears to your eyes. .

Some white supremacists believe the Holocaust never happened simply because they refuse to. There may be photographic evidence to show people in concentration camps, but I dont think they're convinced that 6 million jewish and other minority group members were killed. Its freedom of thought - if they dont want to, they dont have to.

For every belief out there, there are followers. It's the same reason people end up joining cults - there are people out there who will believe anything, regardless of how inane it might be.

because some people are delusional and ansi-semetic and believe what they want to believe.

i know people like this and it's absolutely horrible to think they actually believe that attrocity didn't happen.

go to a holocaust museum for proof ... there are people there who actually lived through the holocaust; and have their numbers branded on their arms to prove it.
