I'll call my boss Andrew, for anonymity.

I do a lot of temporary work and sometimes go back to the same placement (as I get asked to go back). My boss' wife came into the office one day (never met her before) and I greeted her and shook her hand. The first 2 things she said were, "You know that Andrew is very pleased with his permanent secretary". And so I just shook it off and thought nothing of it, as I couldn't really care less, as I love temping. The next thing she said was, "Don't you ever get asked to leave, if you do something wrong?" I nearly fell off my seat, as it came as such a surprise. I went all red and just said, "No".

Andrew's permanent secretary does ask me back, when she takes leave, so why did his wife say these things to me?

Since I became aware of this phenomenon, I've noticed I get into arguements with normally really nice people, over the silliest issues. People drive more aggressive. Many are in bad moods before/during/after a full moon. My sister works in the E.R. & witnesses higher than normal emerg. statistics. Do you believe the moon has a strong gravitational pull, which changes animal/mammal behaviour? If the moon has an affect on the oceans tides, could it have an even greater affect on our brains? Tell me what you think?

I saw this program on Discovery and it seems that if this super volcano, the only active one in the world, erupts we're going to be totally screwed. Anyone else know of this, and what do you think?

I live in China. I'm constantly heckled and cat-called by many locals here. This, although not very refined, is certainly not seen as an insult by Chinese people. The insult is just in my head, due to my having grown up in America where such behavoir isn't acceptable.
I love living here, and I want to stay. But I find myself pissed-off almost once an hour at the way many people treat me.
Many Chinese people have explained why some folks act this way toward me, and there are very understandable reasons. But no matter how much I come to understand, it still pisses me off and the result is that I'm a jerk to about half the people I meet on the street. Usually because I have just taken what they've said or done as an insult.
I guess my delima is how to put intro practice what know I should do. How can I overide my basic cultural reflexes and better adapt to my environment? What I was taught as a child is nonfunctional here. Maybe I should just grow up. Thanks.

Question. Gosh, . . why can't life be as rewarding as it used to be? He used to like me a little. . .and although I know he's married now. . .It just sucks that he is so indifferent. I just want someone wonderful to come to me. Preferably from the past so I don't have to bother with firsts again.

You know what I mean. I know ya do.

I want him. Clone him. I don't want someone elses hubby. I just want him from what I remember. Gosh, he's so nice. AAnd I'm not lying, he acted like he liked me. Even if it was just an act cause he knew I needed a confidence boost. I want him to be my God, my rescu-er, my father, my husband, I want to roll in him.

Also I am broke. You know financially.

To love someone, is to give up your life.

To give up your life, means you are changing.

When you are changing, the people around you change.

To love soemone, you are living.

To be living, makes you feel you have everything.

When you have everything, you have everything to lose.

To love someone, faces getting your heart broken.

To have your heart broken, is to die yet still be living.

To die and still be living, there is nothing to lose.

When you have nothing to lose, there is everything to gain.

When you have everything to gain, then whay be afaid of

Taking chances?
