To love someone, is to give up your life.
To give up your life, means you are changing.
When you are changing, the people around you change.
To love soemone, you are living.
To be living, makes you feel you have everything.
When you have everything, you have everything to lose.
To love someone, faces getting your heart broken.
To have your heart broken, is to die yet still be living.
To die and still be living, there is nothing to lose.
When you have nothing to lose, there is everything to gain.
When you have everything to gain, then whay be afaid of

I have stains upon my soul
A darkness that follows me
Surrounding me wherever I go
I cannot escape my past deeds
Leaving a trail as my heart bleeds
The darkness of my life waits like death
Knowing that sooner or later it will over take me
As the life is extinguished from my body
You do not care about my past
Looking beyond the man I once was
Seeing only the good that I have become
Judging me not...merely loving me with your heart
I will return that love until death do us part
Light has found a way into my life
Keeping the darkness at bay...hidden in the corners
The light of your love surrounds me
I may someday be swept away in the darkness of my deeds
Until that day, I will be wrapped in light and love
Giving my love to you as you do to me
Wrap your soul around me as day turns to night
Keeping away the darkness of my eternal flight

I think you have been hurt before and you are afraid to allow people to know you. You have made plenty of mistakes and you still let this haught you. You battle many things due to the fact that you think much deeper then most people. You seem to be searching for something But, what it is, I'm not sure? But your poem is nice, Go to poetry.com and write a few poems, this way you'll get the credit that you deserve.Even if you are not in bright lights, hey maybe someday when your gone, then your greatness will be discovered. this is when most famous people really get discovered. After their dead and gone.Strange, but true.
