In order to have knowledge you must believe something is true. How do we come to that belief? Also how can that belief be destroyed?

Why am I 'afraid' to ask questions? Big woop, I lose five points. The points don't matter though!!! So then why do I limit myself? Why was I excited to get to level three, when it matters for absolutely nothing!? Ok, you get to answer more questions....but I'm bored and I want to ask a question, but I don't......why am I such a weirdo?1

There is currently a problem with the Phillips curve which graphs inflation versus unemployment. Currently inflation and unemployment are both at historically low levels (according to official statistics). These facts are at odds with the theory, and I wonder if it is "that we have never had it so good" or in fact that we are in a period where there is no truth behind official statistics?

She told me that she hasn't eaten in over 3 weeks. And if she does, she just throws it up. Im the only one she has told, she hasnt even told her boyfriend of 2 years. Should I tell him? She said she eats in front of him and her family so it isnt suspicious but then goes and throws up right away. Should I tell him? I will not be the one to tell her mom, (her dad died when she was 8), because I want her to be able to trust me. In case anything like this ever happens again, she has someone to confide in. She is not fat AT ALL. she is 16 years old, and about 5'7, and only 130 pounds. What will happen if she continues not to eat?

I am Buddhist by family, not by choice. If I am given a choice, I would choose to become an atheist. I do not believe in God. Sorry, but I don't and I can't force myself into doing so.

The fact that I would choose to become an atheist has nothing to do with the religious obligations. Take Christianity for example, Bible is the work of men. One of my friend, a Christian, explained to me that when something require an explanation that is beyond reason, beyond science and beyond belief, God is the ultimate choice. I understand that and I am tolerable with that. I choose to be an atheist because I just cannot handle the fact that human are weak, that's why we have to create God to cling on to. And if all religions represent God, why do they have to strive to prove themselves superior?

You're an atheist - what's your reason?

I recently asked this question. Which is said more often? Lying like a dog or lying like a mug? The results of that question said that more people said lying like a dog. I showed it to her and she just cursed tha **** outta me and kept insisting that she was right and that I am wrong. Is this a type of narcissistic attitude? How can I deal with this person other than just letting her way. Here is the copy of the conversation we were having
