A good friend will help bail you out of the police cell, a true friend would be sat next to you saying "Wasn't that fun?" ;o)

A friend is someone that you like as a person and a true friend is someone that you can just sit around and not talk to at all and feel comfortably numb with them.

It's a classification which is different for different people.
For example one may consider it as a friend who only helps in time of need. Others might consider as a person with whom they can share their views and thoughts. So then again, one cannot decide the classification.

a good friend is someone you can count on when you need advice or someone to talk to in times of need , a true friend is the one who is by your side and goes through the bad times with you and shares the experiences...thats how it is in my opinion anyways , its all depending on how people look at it.

GOOD FRIEND is someone you have general chat with go clubbing etc,, TRUE FRIEND IS someone who has stood by you through thick and thin, and if you need them you know theyre gonna be there no matter what...
