My dear child, you feel so special and different about yourself because you realize that you are the most special and different person you will ever know!
You have begun to understand just how magnificently you are made and how wonderful your presence is as regards the sum of the universe.
You are beginning to grasp the fact that NOTHING would be the same without you.
Do not be dismayed at those who would tell you that you are average, below average or having anything to do with average. They will tell you those things to bring you down a peg or two and meanwhile they will wish they had your self awareness.
God made each of us to be the most fascinating individual that we will ever know.
Have no doubt and deal with no fear.
You are special and different and you should honor that with every breath you take. Acute awareness of self existence is the point of life!
Without this acute awareness of self there would be no interest in others and without interest in others there is no point in self existence.

I first experienced something similar when I was about seven. I had been running around in the school playground and suddenly became very self aware of my intensified heartbeat and breathing. Even at that early age I had started to appreciate my uniqueness and was thrilled by it. I don't mean this in an egotistical way. Now half a century later that first realisation is still very strong. Of course, age, people and events have helped shape my life, but, underneath, I still think that I am still the same person that I was in my formative years.

I think it needs to be explained. It's a complicated question. I think there is more behind the first question. The second part isn't a question, but I think explains further what you are looking for. But if I was to guess what you are saying...Yes, I am aware I am alive. I don't know if I feel special or different though.

where do you stand with your goals in life?
Maybe you've accomplished something great. maybe you are where you want to be, SELF REALIZATION, they call the point.
Or, if it is sudden thing, it can be that you are not in your element, maybe you are away in a different environment.
Whatever the deal, sounds like a healthy feeling. Keep it up!

Maybe because you know yourself all to well. You allow this to bother you and hurt you. You don't give yourself credit for the good that you have within you because, no one else has given you that respect. could this be right?
