I'll call my boss Andrew, for anonymity.

I do a lot of temporary work and sometimes go back to the same placement (as I get asked to go back). My boss' wife came into the office one day (never met her before) and I greeted her and shook her hand. The first 2 things she said were, "You know that Andrew is very pleased with his permanent secretary". And so I just shook it off and thought nothing of it, as I couldn't really care less, as I love temping. The next thing she said was, "Don't you ever get asked to leave, if you do something wrong?" I nearly fell off my seat, as it came as such a surprise. I went all red and just said, "No".

Andrew's permanent secretary does ask me back, when she takes leave, so why did his wife say these things to me?

Are you pretty? Boss's wives can be very jealous of the lovely secretary. As long as you are being asked back, then you can rest assured that you are doing your job well. Take no notice of her.

properly, your boss is going to confirm and at the same time as he does, that is not any longer going to be rather. I propose that you pass on and get yet another pastime....purely get as distant as accessible from this mess you've created. Come on brother, why ought to you intervene with a wedding ceremony. there is more than a number of chicks accessible waiting for you. :-0 good success!

She is afraid, you threaten her little bubble in some way. It's kind of a backhanded compliment if you think about it. She needs to grow up. Just answer every Q with "yup", don't turn to her or give her any eye contact. See were that goes, LOL, ignore the 2 year old.

I think she is having a jealousy issue, as there is no reason for her to even approach you with this matter.

I am wondering if she feels threatened by you as well. Perhaps his regular secretary is older and not as attractive as you are...
:o)

Report the incident to your boss and ask him if something is wrong.

she is a dangerous woman! Be careful and try to avoid and stay away from her as far as possible.

She probably finds you attractive and is worried over her husband.

I assume you are female. I am guessing that she thinks you are more attractive than her.
