I love animals and I like chimpanzees. At zoos I'm not sure how much you get to play with chimps. Is there any kind of a place that keeps chimps for human visitors and allows the visitors to play with them?

If so what would the offspring look like? Would it look different depending on which species was the father?
Are there photos of such crosses?

I was walking this morning at around 4:45a.m. in a residential street. and in one of the neighbors yards there were four deer grazing. I heard a growl and at the same time the deer bolted. This is not a rare occurrance I live in Humboldt County in a part of town bordered by country, redwoods, farms etc..last year I came upon a black female and at least one cub maybe two. Because I grew up on 12 acres of Redwoods on a farm I'm used to wildlife and track bear, mountain lions etc.. However; I've never seen more than one adult in an area and there were at least two. The biggest one was sitting on it's haunches and was easily 200lbs. I had my very weak flashlight and half of a binnocular that's very old. But I'm very sure they were mountain lions. I just want to be totally sure. I think I should call animal control because two or three adults running together doesn't sound right to me. Any input?

I am going to start school so that I can become a zookeeper soon. And I already volunteer at both my local humane society(in the wildlife section) and at my local zoo.

But in all the research that I have been looking though I have not seen anything that states on way or the other if it is good to specialize. I have no problem with that I just don't want something that will be MARKED against me, like I don't know enough about birds though I know a lot about apes. And I also know that I could not but all my eggs in on basket(so to say) but would it be better to have some extra eggs in one of my baskets.

Or because all zoos are different but are still reaching for the same goal at the heart of it would it be better to start off being general and then later if I would like to specialize try it by adding more schooling and trainings then?

Right now I have it in a glass bowl with a little bit of water and some dirt. He's moving around and looks really happy, but do I need to put him in something bigger? More water? What all do they eat?.....and some jerk accused me of taking it from the wild. I DID NOT take the egg from the wild. My aunt and uncle's neighbor found about 5 of them in his backyard...NOT in hole. He's hatched and I'm going to let him go soon. I just want to know what do I do with him for the few days I'm keeping him?

I am trying to teach my young son about spiders, and have been picking them up and have been encouraging him to the same, this is so that he is not scared of them when he gets older.
As far as I am aware there are no British spiders that are harmful to humans. Does anybody know any different?

The report was about picking an animal to be. I picked a polar bear. Here is what I've got so far:

If I could be any animal, I would be a polar bear because they swim a lot, and I really like to swim. Their fur is really thick so it keeps them warm in the cold water way up north. They are the biggest of all the bears and I think it would be really awesome to be big like that. The only other animal that tries to hunt them is humans, which is pretty bad because I wouldn’t have a weapon to defend myself, besides me and maybe other polar bears. My favorite food would be seals, because they really get on my nerves. My favorite thing would probably be my white fur because it keeps me warm and it really pretty.
The only bad thing about being a polar bear would be going extinct. It wouldn’t be much fun being dead.
