We have wild turkeys in our wooded yard. They tend to come to the patio doors and bang furiously on our patio doors. I presume they see their reflection. I noticed this morning they/he/it has banged so hard there is blood on the glass. Is there some way I can prevent them from doing this? I feel bad for these injured birds. :-(

he seems to only have nightmares when he falls asleep during the daytime. he will start to whimper out of no where until someone wakes him up.

hes a great dog and lives in a great home and we never treated him bad. we got him young (under a year old) so do you think its something to do with the owners we got him from or is it just natural for a dog to have constant nightmares? like i said he only gets them during the daytime its kind of strange.

we have the weapons and technology but they have greater numbers who would win the war between humans and human sized insects

btw throw reality out the window, this is just for fun we dont need someone telling us that their legs cant support that kind of mass if they were our size so dont be a buzz kill!

I have noticed several types of leaf hoppers on the Sunflowers in the garden. Black ants seem to be interacting with them but do not harm them.
The ants travel all over the plant, while the leaf hoppers are mainly on the underside.

After reading a book about above hypothosis it makes a lot of sense to me (I know that is not a reason for it to be true). Apparently more scientists are taking it seriously. What are the major objections to it and why has it been sidelined for so long.

Could you please look at picture #46 in my photo album on my Yahoo 360 page and tell me whether you think this is a beaver or a muskrat? It lives in a hole next to my driveway. Thank you.

I've heard it's the dolphin, but I've been doing research on octopuses, and they seem really smart as well. After all, they can mimic other animals as well as change color on demand. So which is it?

We have a LOT of birds outside our bedroom windows. Due to not having an AC, our windows are open. These birds start chirping about midnight & do not stop til morning.
This is NOT occasional. It is EVERY night.
I don't get it. Can anyone explain?

I was surprised recently when I planned on taking my kids to the zoo after work and discovered that our local zoo is only open from 9-5. I figured a zoo would be open until dark. I've checked and most other zoos also close early in the evening. What is the reason for the minimal hours of operation?
