One of our renters found a dead insect under their bed and they think it's an armadillo. Now we live in southern Illinois so I highly doubt it can be one. It is only an inch long, but it does look like an armadillo so I was just wondering if anyone knew what it could be? I've searched the internet and I haven't found anything yet. What type of bug or retile could thins thing be??Thanks!

Help! there is a snake on my arm, i cant get it off, its gray and shiny, has 2 shinny gray teath, the top is bigger, is it a cobra? it keeps clicking to, mabby a rattel snake! its got a ribbed body, i can not find the tale or head. its about the size of my rist to. it has a name tag, its name is "casio", its got 4 blue eyes on its head to.

I did not want to hurt it cus if its got a name tag, it could be a pet, but it may bite me, so i tried to cut it off (the snake, not my arm.), the knife wont cut the snake, its to strong but it bit me when I tried also.

I know that some animals like Manatees eat marine plants, and that larvae of some smaller marine animals use them for shelter and protection, but can anyone think of any other specific examples on how they help the survival of marine animals?
