There are multiple examples. The term for organisms living together is called symbiosis. There are different types:

Mutualism - both organisms benefit
Commensalism - one organism benefits, the other neutral
Parasitism - one organism benefits, the other has a negative response
Competition - both organisms have a negative response

An example of each are:
Mutualism - Coral reefs and the fishes
Commensalism - Remora and sharks (remora eats shark leftovers/waste)
Parasitism - Mosquitoes and Leeches
Competition - Lions and Wild Dogs hunting the same animals

All types of relationships are in life, and no relationship is "better" for an ecosystem than others. But there are many, many different types of relationship WITHOUT mutual benefit.

I think remora on sharks do not benefit the shark.
