This particular photo was e-mailed to me a while ago and I know it is on-line some where. It's on a Reticulated Python that tryed to bite a electric fence and it's hanging from the wire by it's teeth. I thought it was a fake till I saw it last night on the National Geographic Channel.

Everybody knows that cobras, the snakes, are really fast. But what is fast in this context, does it mean mainly that they react really qiuick or that they move their head speedily when they attack. Does anyone have any numbers on this, so that it can be compared in a meaningful way :|

Does anybody know of a website that can give me a list of spiders and the symptoms of their bites? i dont mean just info on one spider at a time and doing individual research on them, because that would be quite difficult =) Maybe even one that relates to South African spiders, or ones that are native to here. Thx
