Technically there shouldn't be any cannibals or man-eaters, a species is programmed to survive by eating other animals but themselves and in some cases interacting and cooporating with each other. They may spar with each other to attract a mate. But then again this is the almighty human race what with free will and all and mutations.

There are man eating carnivores out there. Most carnivores avoid human prey, but if they are hungry enough they will kill people and in certain situation eat them. There have been cases of cannibalism. Check out the book Alive. I forget the author but it involved a plane crash and people left out in the wilderness with nothing to eat, so they resorted to cannibalism to survive. There are still a few indigenous tribes in south America, that cannibalize the war captives that they capture.
Also one may say Christians are cannibals, sorry no offence to those Christians out there, I'm one too. We eat the body of Christ during Communion. Believing that the wafer symbolically turns into the blood of Christ.

A German guy named Armin Meyer was emprisonned for having eaten an other person. He is a cannibal and he ate more than one person. So yes, they do exist.

its impossible for them not to exist. cannibalisim is a natural instinct, say if someone hadnt eaten for days and was starving to death, those instincts could lead them to cannibalisim easily. its been common during famine.
note: cannibals arent always human, a cannibal is any organisim who eats another organisim of the same species.

I don't just believe it, I know it. There are still some people who eat their dead culturally, and there are still some people who will eat strangers; what we think of as cannibals. there are also psychopaths who enjoy a good human steak from time to time
