No, it is one of the oldest evolved animal and an intermediary in evolution chain.It lays eggs and also gives milk to its hatched young ones.

Ok, so I'm going to use the deifinition for hybrid that I think you probably have in mind: the cross between two different species. In this case, the answer is no.

If it were a hybrid, we would be able to see the same traits in the two parent species which produced it. Also, hybrids typically cannot reproduce.

ummmmm.......no. It comes under the order of monotremata and it is one of the only mammals that lays eggs but suckles its young ones
