Yeah - "half bird, half fish" is misleading.

You can say that the penguin is a great example of adaptation to an environment - specifically driven by natural selection. This example of niche specialisation, as well as any number of others, all point to a natural process that adapts animals to suit their environment, to exploit it in a manner that is not already occupied. In a way, the driving force is to reduce the competition for resources, and the penguins have certainly carved out a niche that no other anumals are likely to follow.

The fact that a penguin is a good swimmer doesn't make it "half fish". Anatomically it is clearly a bird. A lot of other animals are also good swimmers, including squid, snakes, turtles, seals and otters. Besides, birds did not evolve directly from fish. We don't need "proof" of evolution any more than we need "proof" of photosynthesis. They are both recognized natural processes.

A penguin is all bird.
Modern penguin species have evolved a hydrodynamic body habitus, a heavy fat layer, insulating feathers, and flipper like wings as a consequence of the improved survival potential of those features for life in the cold Antarctic where they must be able to outswim their preferred prey, many of which happen to be fish.

The only fish are in its stomach. The penguin is a birds whose wings have adapted from fight in air to "flight" in water.

If your question is for the perpose of disproving one thing by
proof of another than the answer is no.

However if it is for the fundimental perpose of science,That is
to gain further understanding of the universe and of all things
therein then the answer is yes but the question is wrong.

All things evolve in time from one form to another.Metal rusts,
soil erodes, stars explode, babys are born and bodys decompose.
Even the constructs of society changes throughout time.

Can this be used to explain against the insane bizzar drama of
Crist? The answer is no.God can kill his own kid without a flinch
and can take you out even quicker.

Can this be used to show that not all things remain the same?
The answer is yes

Now respect God before he breaks your legs with a bat and
sets you on fire.
