I got out of the shower this morning, and I saw this spider hanging from the ceiling. It looked bigger when it was alive. Anyone know what it was? http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=4307157

A friend heard on the radio this morning that the Red Squirrel is becoming endangered. Is this true? And what can we do about it?

Years ago, I saw this exhibit at a science museum that featured some models of prehistoric animals, and one was very tiger looking (I THINK it had stripes but it may have been solid yellow in color) but much more slender? Could this have simply just been a prehistoric tiger?

And please only helpful answers, please no "I don't know." answers, thats just wasting your time and mine. Thanks!

I like the male peacock, many colors to admire from mother nature. I noticed the male birds have all the fancy feathers, while female humans put on the makeup to attract mates.

Today I found an orange spider whose body was about the size of a quarter. The body/back of it was round and it had a white stripe running down the middle.(front to back) Looked like it could have been a series of white dashes.(didnt get that close) There were also 4 small black patches on its back that were on each side of white line..one was upper left..lower left of line and vice versa on right side of line. Never have I seen such a spider before. Any ideas? Oh, and its legs looked hairy and brown!

I know they are not bears, but are marsupials. Shep Smith on Fox just called them "joeys" and I wondered if they were called the same as Kangaroos?
