parents pass genetic traits to their offspring such as musical ability, intelligence, strength etc. Are these traits fixed and immutable at time the parent was born or is the trait influenced by the parents life from time of birth to the time their child is born. For example, does a man who attends grade school, high school, college before fathering a child at age 22 pass along a slightly higher intelligence capability to his child than if he had been locked in a closet for 22 years? Does a woman who studies music for 22 years pass along a slightly higher music ability to her child than if she was never exposed to music? Does a man who does body building pass along a slightly greater stength trait than someone who has led a sedentary life?

I'm looking for detailed statistics. Yearly and /or monthly temperatures for major North American cities over a period of at least a century would be a good start.
