I don't think it is as bad as in Houston. They tend to get a lot of the gulf weather. There's more hurricane type weather and more flooding issues. San Antonio is further inland, so we don't have that going on. We do get minor flooding once in a while though. Temperatures run on the high side, but that is true all over Texas. But I think for the most part we aren't as humid.

Go to this site and type in Houston, TX in the upper left corner and go down the page to History and Almanac and type in August of any year and you will get all the statistics for this city. Do the same for San Antonio and compare the results. I think you will find San Antonio to be a little more extreme since Houston is on the coast and its weather is moderated by that fact.
