Generally snow, because it makes you feel cosy and its so beautiful. Unless I have an important appointment to attend and the snow may be deep, then I'd rather just rain. But rain makes you feel raw and so damp. Snow is dryer and calming.

Snow as it is the less common of the two in my climate. I suppose those living in the high arctic (or antarctic) would prefer rain for the same reason.
