we are dicussing global warming in my class after we just finished the movie, and so when we were dicussing it everyone kept bringing up "when the earth goes into another ice age" i wonder if it's just theory because i have to write an essay on what we discussed and i want it to be as accurate as possible

There is a tornado watch for my county(Wichita, TX) until midnight, however it is not supposed rain until 3am. Could a tornado happen even when there is no rain?

In Mauritius they tell us that a cyclone is specific to the southern hemisphere, whereas it's called a tornado in the northern hemisphere.
In Frank Baum's book of The Wizard of Oz, the author distinctly calls it a cyclone that whisks Dorothy away in her house; is this poetic licence, or are the Mauritians being possessive?

you place an air conditioner in the center of the room assume the room is sealed and that a fan mixes the air in the room well. you let the air conditioner run all day long and in the late afternoon you come back what happened to the temperature of the room and why ( assume that it happened in a hot summer morning)
