Weather - December 2006

[Selected]: All categories Science & Mathematics Weather

A friend told me that she had read a article in newspaper that said someting to do with the rotation or the orbit of Mars has changed. As a result of that the weather on Earth is unusually different fo this part of the year. I am from South Eastern Europe. Something has changed with the weather this year. It is unusually warm for this season. I was warm weather like in spring a weak ago, but then again has changed sudenlly in true winter weather. Could this be the result of Mars disrupting our weather or the global warming has started showing its effects on the weather.

don't you feel worried about the climate and how the snow was deeper when you were younger, though funnily it didn't feel as cold though!!

I live in the upper Mid-West and absolutely love cold, snowy weather. The colder, the better. When I was young I used to go out skiing in -35 degree weather, and, even today, I find nothing more exciting than skiing or running outside when its cold. And I mean really cold-at least -30 F. There is something about the cold and snow and darkness that just gets me pumped up.

The problem is that Global Warming has begun to drastically change our winters. We simply do not get as cold as we used to be and snow is harder to come by. People have gotten soft and weak and think is actaully cold when it hits 0 degrees. Now I find myself checking the weather in Siberia and wishing I was there. I'm sure they are not as cold as they used to be too, but their weather now is probably comporable to the weather we used to have.

I know I'm weird, but anyone else feel the way I do?

I've been looking through the questions about headaches and several people mentioned that they often have headaches when it's raining, but I often get headaches when it is very sunny. Is that normal? Is it possible that this is related to the barometric pressure?

I'm not looking for your address here; general region is fine if you're not comfortable giving a city--and how much snow you get, of course.

When I woke up this morning it was 14 degrees celsius (57 farenheit) in my livingroom.. I was freezing, but my hubby said "How can you be freezing, it's 14 degrees"

Is 14 (57) cold? Or is it all in my imagination?
