Ok this one will be long. And Scientific-ee

Ok, so in the winter time the earth has rotated around and where you live is Furthest away from the sun. So thus the temperature drops. Then when it starts to rain the rain begins to fall and its particles freeze and the rain turns to snow. The reason why the sun is so hot is because of two things.
1. It feels hot becuase in the summertime the place you live is closer to the sun than normal, so the temp. Increases.
2. The sun is made of fire.

The molecules in snow do not have much kinetic energy, and so do not move around much. When it comes in contact with our skin (which is warmer and so it has molecules moving at a faster rate), the warmth from our body is transferred to the snow and so it feels cold. This occurs due to the need to maintain an equilibrium temperature between the two objects in contact - the snow and our skin.

Similarly, the heat from the sun feels hot because it transfers its heat to our cooler skin.

snow is under 32 degrees fahrenheit. Our bodies are approximately 98.6 degrees fahreinheit so its cold to us, but not necessarily cold to say 0 kelvin. What makes snow cold is the fact that there is less dense matter in higher altitudes (higher in the sky where snow is made) the sun heats solids much better than gasses.

The sun is hot because its 11,000 degrees fahrenheit. That's a lot gotter than our bodies so it feels hotter to us. It uses fission to make the high temperatures.

if you were the temperature of the snow then only the sun would be hot - the snow wouldn't be anything... or vice versa

it's all relative to you - how hot or cold the thing is relative to you

The sun is hot because it is a ball of gas constantly undergoing nuclear fusion.

The fusion takes place between hydrogen atoms and produces helium, a heavier element.

This process produces vast heat which can be felt on Earth. It also produces large quantities of radiation, some of which reaches the Earth's surface and is partly the reason you get a sunburn.

lol......contacting god.....loading......why did u make snow so cold and sun so hot...lol its because snow is made from cooled water particles or molecules(small pieces) and sun cuz its made up of burning gases which are constantly being ignited(heated up,lighted) hope this works!!

I tried 2 experiments, first throwing a snowball at the sun and second throwing a flame thrower at a snowman. Both were inconclusive

snow is cold because it just is and the sun is hot because its on fire

cause snow is frozen water and the sun is burning gas
